Description

Classic chocolate chip cookies made with Nestle Toll House Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels and chopped nuts for a rich, chewy texture.


Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup (2 sticks) salted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups Nestle Toll House Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels (12 ounce package)
  • 1 cup chopped nuts (pecans recommended)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
  3. In another large bowl, beat the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar on medium speed until light and fluffy, about 3 minutes.
  4. Beat in the eggs one at a time, ensuring each is fully incorporated before adding the next. Mix in the vanilla extract.
  5. Gradually add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients, beating until just combined.
  6. Fold in the chocolate morsels and chopped nuts evenly.
  7. Drop heaping tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  8. Bake for 9 to 11 minutes, or until golden brown. Let them cool on the baking sheet for 2 minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
