Nutella Magic Bars: Irresistibly Decadent & Effortless

Oh my goodness, let me tell you about the first time I made Nutella Magic Bars for my family. My niece was visiting, and we needed a quick dessert that would impress everyone. These bars saved the day! In less than an hour, we had this magical, gooey, chocolate-hazelnut creation that disappeared faster than I could say “second helping.” What I love most is how simple they are – just layer, pour, and bake – but the taste? Pure decadence. That Nutella and condensed milk combo bubbling over the crispy coconut and buttery crust? Trust me, it’s life-changing. Your kitchen will smell like a European bakery, and your people will be begging for the recipe.

Why You’ll Love Nutella Magic Bars

Seriously, these bars are pure magic – and here’s why:

  • Effortless baking: Just layer, pour, and bake – no fancy techniques needed (even my 10-year-old niece could do it!)
  • That Nutella hug: The warm Nutella-condensed milk blanket makes every bite taste like a cozy dessert hug
  • Texture party: Crunchy pecans, chewy coconut, and melty chips create the BEST mouthfeel
  • Crowd magnet: I’ve brought these to 6 parties now – they’re always the first dessert to disappear
  • Pantry-friendly: Uses ingredients you probably already have (except maybe the willpower not to eat all the Nutella first!)

Description

Nutella Magic Bars are a delicious and easy-to-make dessert with a graham cracker crust, layers of butterscotch chips, white chocolate chips, coconut, and pecans, topped with a Nutella and condensed milk mixture.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs (from 11 to 12 sheets)
  • 8 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 cup butterscotch chips
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1 cup sweetened flaked coconut
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans or hazelnuts
  • 2/3 cup Nutella
  • 14 ounces sweetened condensed milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Spray a 13×9-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
  2. Mix graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar in a bowl, then press firmly into the baking dish.
  3. Layer butterscotch chips, white chocolate chips, coconut, and pecans over the crust.
  4. Warm Nutella slightly in the microwave, then stir in sweetened condensed milk. Pour over the layers.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes until edges bubble and coconut is golden. Cool completely before slicing.
  6. Store in an airtight container at room temp for up to 2 days, or refrigerate for a week.
  7. Freeze for up to 2 months by first freezing bars on a wax-paper lined sheet.

Notes
